Imagine that a new friend has invited you to a house party. Having no idea what to expect, you arrive and are immediately impressed – the place is seriously stylish, the food on offer looks delicious. There is a buzz about the place, people are excited. You know you are in for a treat.
The music is spot on. Not just the usual anonymous racket... is that the tinkling of a piano you can hear accompanied by someone singing? Each room you visit has DJ's playing a variety of eclectic music - ska in here, funk in there, disco over there. Some of the guests are even playing their own records, and the crowd love it.
This is clearly not your usual alcopops-and-beer brigade. Mixologists are offering incredible cocktails. You decide on a glass of champagne and are served it by a seven foot showgirl on stilts.
Throughout the evening you meet a number of other strange and wonderful people - exotic ballroom dancers, a magician called Steve, a strange clairvoyant who tells you your fortune, a nun, a priest, an acrobat and the sexiest photographer you have ever seen...
At 2am the records stop spinning and its time to go home, so you jump into one of the many cabs waiting outside. Does that sound like your kind of Saturday night?
